We are seeking individuals who are passionate about their craft and dedicated to delivering exceptional automotive services to our community. Stones Garage has been in operation for 30+ years and maintained a steady and reliable reputation for honesty and service during that time. We are looking to hire on an additional Tech to better meet the maintenance and repair needs of our community who also upholds these values. We are a very busy shop that encounters a lot of face to face time with clients and each other. We have new state of the art alignment/ ADAS machine and shop scan tools.

Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks on various vehicles. Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify issues and provide accurate and efficient solutions. Execute repairs and replacements of parts, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Adhere to established safety procedures and guidelines at all times. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly handled and stored. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in paid training opportunities as needed. Basic machining and welding operations. Talking to clients about the performance and concerns of their vehicles. Communicating vehicle diagnosis and options to front desk along with services and parts needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an automotive Tech. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems. Strong knowledge of automotive technology, including both traditional and modern vehicles. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Specialized tools provided by shop, must supply personal tools Proficient with HVAC systems

Preferred Candidate:

ASE Certification (must provide valid certification proof) Front end and transmission expertise Modified 4x4 vehicle experience Minimum 2 years automotive repair and maintenance experience Looking to have a full work week in a busy shop space.
