Looking for a tech who is experienced in diagnostics, electrical is a bonus. The position involves moderate interaction with customers and service advisor ensuring clear communication of vehicle issues and repair solutions. We do everything from basic maintenance to engine and transmission replacements- expect to see diversity and deal with all systems. Responsibilities Perform vehicle diagnostics using advanced software and standard tools Execute repairs and maintenance across multiple vehicle types Lead Technician/shop leader Test Drive Vehicles Maintain thorough documentation of all work performed Perform routine vehicle maintenance Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer Skill Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and general automotive repair techniques. communication with service advisor Previous experience as a mechanic Knowledge of shop equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Deadline and detail-oriented Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment 5+ years of experience in automotive repair ASE Certified/Vocational training in automotive technology Valid driver's license Proficiency with automotive diagnostics and engine repair Knowledge of suspension and electrical troubleshooting
Pay:
$28.00 - $38.00 per hour
