Driving Full Job Description Now Hiring:

Mechanic Assistant - $22.00/hour, 40 Hours/week We're looking for a Mechanic Assistant that is reliable, motivated, safety conscious, computer savvy, ready to learn and take direction to join our team working under our shop manager and senior management staff.

Responsibilities:

Assist shop manager with vehicle, machine and equipment repairs and maintenance. Learn and become proficient with our shop software program. Perform basic tasks (oil changes, tire rotations, inspections). Keep the workspace clean and organized. Handle tools and equipment safely. Sweep shops, wash and detail vehicles, help maintain cleanliness, organization and general condition of yard space and buildings Willingness to work on our job sites in the field when workload in the shop is slow.

Requirements:

Putting safety first in all situations. Basic knowledge of automotive systems (preferred but not required). Driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record. CDL preferred, but not mandatory. Run parts and other business-related errands in an ArborForce vehicle. Willingness to learn and take direction. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
