This pivotal role involves performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Nissan vehicles, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The successful candidate will also oversee daily shop operations, mentor technicians, and uphold exceptional customer service standards. This position offers an opportunity to utilize extensive technical expertise in a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence in automotive repair. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on Nissan vehicles, including powertrain, electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and diesel engines. Lead the shop team by assigning tasks, monitoring workflow, and ensuring timely completion of all service jobs. Perform complex repairs such as engine overhauls, transmission work, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues accurately. Maintain detailed service records and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Oversee shop safety protocols, proper use of hand tools and power tools, and ensure a clean working environment. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and building trust with clients. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including ADAS calibration and electrical system advancements. Mentor and train technicians to enhance their skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair, welding, and other specialized areas. Manage inventory levels for parts and tools to support efficient workflow. Requirements Proven dealership experience as a Master Technician or equivalent role with extensive Nissan vehicle knowledge. Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including powertrain, electrical systems, diesel engines, and auto body repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics tools and schematics interpretation. Experience working with GM vehicles is a plus but not required; familiarity with diverse vehicle brands is advantageous. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines. Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures and automotive electrical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting complex issues. Demonstrated leadership ability with experience as a Shop Foreman or similar supervisory role.
