Hiring Mechanic / Equipment Installers - Greeley, CO (First Shift) We're seeking a Mechanic / Equipment Installer to join a first‑shift team responsible for installing, configuring, and servicing specialized equipment on work trucks. This includes snow plows, ice control systems, hydraulic setups, electrical controls, and custom‑fabricated components. You'll work in a shop environment where mechanical aptitude, electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic knowledge, and welding skills come together to build safe, reliable, and fully customized truck units.

Job Description:
Truck Equipment Installation — Install snow plows, ice control systems, and other truck‑mounted equipment per specifications and work orders. Mechanical Assembly — Fit, mount, and adjust mechanical components to ensure proper operation and safety. Blueprint & Diagram Reading — Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan and execute installations. MIG Welding & Fabrication — Fabricate and weld brackets, frames, and mounting structures for custom builds. Hydraulic System Setup — Install and service central hydraulic systems and full hydraulic configurations for truck equipment. 12V Electrical Work — Route, connect, and troubleshoot wiring harnesses, switches, relays, and control systems. Diagnostics & Repair — Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics to resolve issues on new and existing equipment. Tool Use & Assembly — Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment to assemble, adjust, and repair components. Quality & Safety Checks — Inspect completed installations to ensure alignment with technical requirements and safe operation.
Skills/Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on trucks, heavy equipment, or automotive systems Proficiency in MIG welding, fabrication, and metalwork Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Experience with 12V electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting Knowledge of hydraulic systems, including installation and service Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Comfortable using a wide range of hand and power tools
