As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for keeping the fleet in working order by performing regular inspections and maintenance. General overhaul, tune-up, diagnostics, and repair work on Jeeps, vans, pick-up trucks, snowmobiles, ATVs, and Side-by-Side OHVs. Inspection, diagnosis, adjustment, and replacement of necessary units and parts. Perform complex diagnostics on all vehicle systems. Determine, complete, and document appropriate maintenance and repairs on all vehicle components. Perform and document preventative maintenance procedures per vehicle specifications. Conduct road/trail service calls for repair or rescue, diagnosing issues accurately and safely This position requires the employee to drive company vehicles More about you Must be at least 18 years old 2 years experience in fleet maintenance of heavy diesel, truck, vans, and OHV repair, and service. The successful applicant will have an unrestricted driver's license and can pass a DOT physical. Knowledge of OEM parts and vehicle repair with a background and knowledge of all aspects of fleet operations and off-highway vehicles. Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently, prepare and maintain records, and follow instructions effectively. ASE certification is preferred but not required. Physical requirements Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift heavy objects and kneel Must pass a DOT physical Shift details Days Evenings Holidays Weekends 8hr shift OT as needed
