Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Whether working on gasoline engines, diesel engines, transmissions, or electrical systems, your skills will keep vehicles running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Execute oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and suspension repairs to optimize vehicle performance. Repair and replace air brake systems and work on diesel engines with precision and adherence to safety standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, or replace automotive parts while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards before returning to the road. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across diverse vehicle types; dealership experience is a plus. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, Schematics reading skills, and familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar brands is desirable. Proficiency in diesel engine repair, brake repair, auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating processes. Ability to use diagnostic equipment effectively for automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience working with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, alignments, tire service, shocks & struts replacement. Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems alongside maintenance of powertrain components including transmissions. Excellent customer service skills coupled with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. $25.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
