Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines with precision and attention to detail. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in peak condition. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and electronic control modules. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrains, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding automotive electrical diagrams for accurate troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment equipment, and auto estimating software is highly desirable. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools effectively. Knowledge of GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; familiarity with automotive electrical systems enhances your versatility.
