The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing a variety of equipment, including automotive and heavy machinery. This role requires proficiency in reading schematics and utilizing hand tools effectively. The Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Duties Diagnose issues with vehicles and heavy equipment using automotive diagnostics techniques. Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance. Assemble parts and components as needed for repairs or new installations. Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during maintenance tasks. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed. Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair needs and project updates. Must HAVE tools; ASE Certified; Certifications are A plus ; ASE 8 Engine Performance; Experience Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, automotive diagnostics, and electrical systems. 2 Years at least of experience; Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is an asset. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
