Perks & Benefits Weekly paychecks Direct Deposit or Cash Card pay options Medical / Dental Insurance $34.10 / Hour Employment Type & Shifts Direct Hire 2nd Shift Job Responsibilities The Mechanic will repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
Key responsibilities include:
Observing mechanical devices in operation to identify the causes of issues. Diagnosing equipment failures and recommending appropriate repair actions. Dismantling devices to remove and replace defective parts and installing special functional and structural components. Adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments. Initiating purchase orders for parts and machinery. Ensuring that all equipment complies with OEM specifications and regulatory requirements. Administering the Preventive Maintenance program using the computer system and following Preventive Maintenance Work Order procedures.
Job Qualifications:
Technical school education is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of mechanical repair experience in a heavy industrial setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Working Conditions /
Physical Demands:
The employee will regularly be required to stand, walk, use hands for handling or feeling, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will frequently need to climb, balance, and communicate verbally or by listening. The employee may occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $34.10 - $34.10 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
