Job Summary An experienced Automotive Technician is needed in our busy Infiniti dealership located in Wallingford, CT. Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care! In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help customers get back on the road confidently, while you sharpen your skills with cutting-edge automotive technology. Duties Perform thorough diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrain systems, and diesel engines. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for tasks such as wheel alignments, welding, and mechanical repairs. Service and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to ensure vehicle safety features operate flawlessly. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical problems. Conduct vehicle inspections, including alignment checks and powertrain assessments, to determine necessary repairs or maintenance. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools is essential. Hands-on experience with Infiniti/Nissan vehicles or similar brands is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, and powertrain components. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Ability to read technical manuals and interpret schematics accurately. Strong commitment to vehicle maintenance standards and safety protocols.
