Job Description

Industrial Lift Truck Maintenance Technician Windsor Locks, CT | Wednesday-Saturday, 8:00 PM-6:30 AM | $22-$26 per hour | Benefits day one Is this you? Do you enjoy solving tough mechanical and electrical problems under time pressure? Are you comfortable with hydraulics, schematics, and precision adjustments? Do you take pride in safe, reliable equipment and clear documentation? Watch what the work looks like: www.youtube.com/watch?v=80m_3-7sWUw What you'll take on PMs and break/fix work on forklifts and material handling assets. Root-cause troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Safety inspections and compliance with industry standards and internal procedures. Clear, complete maintenance records and parts usage logs. Collaboration with peers to improve uptime and fleet performance. Professional communication with customers on equipment status and next steps. Continuous learning on evolving forklift technologies. What you'll need Experience as a forklift technician or similar equipment tech. Mechanical aptitude and strong diagnostic instincts. Knowledge of electrical circuits and hydraulic systems. Comfort working solo and as part of a team. Excellent communication and service orientation. Valid driver's license; ability to operate forklifts safely. Technical certification in forklift repair is a plus. Experience snapshot 1-2 years logging work orders and PMs in a computerized tracking system (CMMS/asset tool). Familiarity with Crown, Raymond, and Toyota equipment is a plus. Backgrounds from automotive or wheeled-army mechanics are welcome.
