About the Role As an Automotive Diagnostic and Repair Technician, you will leverage your technical expertise and analytical skills to ensure vehicle reliability and safety. You will play a vital role in maintaining fleet performance by delivering precise mechanical solutions and clear communication regarding vehicle health. Responsibilities Execute complex repairs and diagnostics on electrical, fuel ignition, suspension, alignment, and HVAC systems to restore vehicle functionality. Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance to uphold high safety and performance standards. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs, providing accurate estimates for time and cost. Translate complex technical findings into easy-to-understand explanations for customers and team members. Participate in ongoing training to master the latest automotive technologies and repair methodologies. Collaborate with the service team to streamline repair workflows and improve overall shop efficiency. Required Skills Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair. Proficiency with modern shop tools, including diagnostic scanners, alignment systems, and AC service equipment. Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a team-oriented mindset. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Skills Current ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications. State-specific inspection and emissions licensing. Proven ability to troubleshoot advanced computer and electrical systems.
