Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction! Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, shocks & struts, brakes, and steering components to restore optimal vehicle function. Service vehicles with oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and tire service to maintain safety standards. Repair or replace auto body parts and welding as needed to ensure vehicle integrity and appearance. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed repair records, estimate repair costs accurately using auto estimating software, and communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle's needs. Stay updated on automotive technologies such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and diesel engine repair techniques to provide cutting-edge service. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer-specific procedures. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools is essential. Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment. Ability to perform complex repairs including diesel engine repair, auto body work, and auto estimating. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience. Certifications in automotive electrical systems or specialized areas like ADAS or air brake systems are a plus.
