Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaves our shop in optimal condition, providing safety, reliability, and performance for our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems, utilize advanced diagnostic tools, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay is by book hours. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, shocks & struts, and powertrain elements. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble automotive parts with precision. Read and interpret schematics for complex automotive electrical systems to facilitate accurate repairs. Ensure all repairs meet dealership or industry standards for quality and safety. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge across a variety of vehicle makes and models. Expertise in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain repair, transmissions, brake repair, suspension systems, alignment procedures, tire service, shocks & struts. Proficiency with schematics reading and understanding complex automotive electrical diagrams. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools required for automotive repair. Knowledge of auto body repair techniques alongside mechanical repairs is advantageous. Familiarity with diesel engine repair procedures and auto electrical systems troubleshooting.
Pay:
$35.00 - $50.00 per hour
