Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction! In this energized role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your mechanical skills and knowledge of automotive systems will be vital in delivering top-tier service, whether working on gasoline engines, diesel engines, transmissions, or electrical systems. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, brakes, electrical systems, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks to keep vehicles running smoothly. Specialize in advanced repairs such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body repairs, welding, and diesel engine repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts with precision. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met or exceeded. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer-specific procedures. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, Schematics reading, and auto estimating software is advantageous. Hands-on experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus. Skilled in automotive diagnostics tools and techniques for accurate problem-solving. Experience with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, wheel alignments, suspension work, brake repair, welding, and auto body repair is desirable.
