  • Full-time, Contract Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled European Diagnostic Technician to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience diagnosing and repairing European and exotic vehicles , including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Jaguar, Land Rover, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Maserati, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren , and similar high-performance brands . This position requires advanced diagnostic expertise, a deep understanding of automotive electrical and communication systems (CAN, LIN, MOST, and FlexRay networks) , and proficiency in vehicle coding, programming, and module adaptation using both OEM and advanced aftermarket diagnostic tools . The European Diagnostic Technician will play a key role in ensuring precision repairs, optimized performance, and superior quality through technical mastery and meticulous attention to detail. Duties & Responsibilities Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on European and exotic vehicles , identifying and resolving issues related to powertrain, transmission, suspension, braking, and complex electronic systems. Diagnose and repair electrical and communication network issues , including CAN bus, LIN, MOST, and FlexRay faults, wiring harness failures, and module communication errors. Utilize a wide range of OEM and aftermarket diagnostic platforms (e.g., ISTA, XENTRY, ODIS, PIWIS, Maserati SD3/SDX, Bentley/Rolls-Royce OEM software, McLaren diagnostic platforms, Launch, etc.) for precise fault detection, system calibration, coding, and programming . Perform vehicle coding, module programming, and software updates to ensure all systems function according to manufacturer specifications. Conduct ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, reprogramming, and system resets. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure long-term vehicle reliability and optimal performance. Interpret complex wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer service manuals to effectively troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to promote efficiency and quality control. Stay current with the latest automotive technologies, diagnostic procedures, and software advancements through continuous training and professional development. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician, specializing in European, exotic, and high-performance vehicle diagnostics and repair . Advanced understanding of automotive electrical systems, CAN bus communications, and vehicle network architecture . Proven expertise in vehicle coding, programming, module adaptation, and software updates using OEM diagnostic systems. Proficiency with OEM diagnostic tools for brands including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Maserati, Aston Martin, McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini , and similar high-performance brands . Experience diagnosing and repairing ADAS systems and other advanced electronic technologies. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform complex diagnostics independently.
