Ford Automotive Technician Job Summary:
The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles while delivering exceptional workmanship and efficiency. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the high standards of Gary Smith Ford and Ford Motor Company.
Ford Automotive Technician Key Responsibilities:
Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer and dealership standards Diagnose and repair vehicle systems Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently Communicate diagnostic findings and repair recommendations clearly to service advisors Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance services Recondition pre-owned inventory and complete light-duty repair work Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Stay current with evolving automotive technology through ongoing training and certification programs Follow all federal, state, local, and dealership safety regulations Perform additional duties as assigned
Ford Automotive Technician Qualifications:
Ford Certification a huge plus Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified strongly preferred Excellent diagnostic skills Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service Experience working in a high-volume dealership preferred Ability to multi-task in a fast-pace environment Strong communication and computer skills Professional in appearance and grooming Positive attitude and ability to take direction well Ability to work in all types of weather conditions, including high heat and humidity required High school diploma or equivalent proffered Acceptable driving record required Valid driver's license required •All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include: MVR and drug testing to qualify for employment•
Ford Automotive Technician Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, reach above head, sit, stand, talk and hear. The employee must be able to see color and at close and far distances and is required to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs unassisted. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
