$50,000 - $85,000+ Per Year Job Overview Gainesville Automotive Center is seeking a motivated and experienced B-Level Automotive Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a technician who is comfortable performing a wide variety of maintenance and repair services but may not yet specialize in advanced diagnostics or major engine and transmission rebuilds. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and is committed to delivering excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have solid automotive repair experience and be capable of independently performing most maintenance and light-to-medium repair jobs. Responsibilities Perform oil changes, fluid services, and scheduled maintenance Diagnose and repair air conditioning and heating systems Perform brake inspections and brake system repairs Replace brake pads, rotors, calipers, wheel cylinders, and related components Diagnose and repair suspension and steering systems Replace shocks, struts, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, sway bar components, wheel bearings, and other suspension parts Perform cooling system repairs including radiators, thermostats, water pumps, and hoses Replace batteries, starters, alternators, and other common electrical components Conduct vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area Work closely with A-Level and Master Technicians when advanced repairs are required Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of automotive repair experience preferred Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures Experience with brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, and general repair work Ability to perform repairs independently with minimal supervision Basic diagnostic skills Ability to use scan tools and service information systems Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license Must have your own tools Preferred Qualifications ASE Certifications are a plus Alignment experience is a plus Tire service experience is a plus A/C certification preferred Experience working on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Reliable and punctual Efficient and productive Motivated to learn and advance their skills Professional and team-oriented Detail-oriented and quality-focused Able to perform repairs correctly the first time Comfortable working on a variety of vehicle makes and models Benefits Competitive compensation Consistent workflow and repair opportunities Clean and professional work environment Career growth opportunities Paid holidays and vacation Employee discounts Ongoing training and development Join Gainesville Automotive Center If you're an experienced technician looking to grow your career with a professional repair facility that values quality work, honesty, and customer satisfaction, we'd like to hear from you.
