Job Description
International Service Contractors, LLC (ISC LLC) is seeking a qualified Vehicle Mechanic to join our team supporting U.S. Government operations. ISC LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing mission-critical services to government customers throughout the world. Position Summary The Vehicle Mechanic performs maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and have experience working with both gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles. Minimum Qualifications Minimum three (3) years of experience performing vehicle maintenance and repair services. Experience working on gasoline and/or diesel engines. Knowledge and experience with vehicle systems including: Electrical systems Hydraulic systems Air brake and pneumatic systems Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Powertrain and drivetrain components Steering and suspension systems Braking systems (hydraulic and air) Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing electronic control systems, including: Powertrain Control Modules (PCM) Anti-Lock Brake Systems (ABS) Electronic vehicle control systems Preferred Qualifications Experience maintaining and repairing: Heavy construction equipment Forklifts Mobile cranes Associated Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are highly desirable. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Experience using diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting equipment. Desired Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety. Strong communication and organizational skills.
