Job Description
Why Join Us Foco Auto Repair is a family-owned business located on sunbeam road just minutes from the St. Johns River and the suburban sprawl of south Jacksonville. We keep the cars of north and south Jacksonville drivers running smoothly from beach traffic to bridge crossings and air-conditioned comfort through humid summers. Our bays are clean, our tools updated and our environment stress free but productive. We offer competitive pay, cover ASE testing and fees. What You'll Do Diagnose check engine light, electrical and drivability concerns through the use of scan tools, lab scopes and factory service information resources Perform computerized vehicle inspections, taking the time to note and photo document both concerns and cosmetics so that the customer is fully informed Handle a broad range of service and repair functions including brakes, timing belts, suspensions, alignments, cooling systems, ac service and more on domestics, Asian and limited European models Make test drives through the local traffic and conditions to recreate customer concerns and verify repairs Maintain a clean and organized work area with all tools and materials secured and disposed of in a manner consistent with Florida DEP regulations Communicate clearly and directly with the service advisor so that the customer is kept well informed and properly counseled on vehicle needs and concerns What We're Looking For Three or more years professional experience in an independent shop or dealership Ability to perform diagnosis using factory resources, wiring diagrams and digital scan tools and lab scopes ASE certification (A1-A8) is a big plus, we pay for the test and keep you certified Bring your basic hand tools, we'll supply the specialty and heavy shop tools Florida driver license and clean driving record is a must Dependable, communicative and concerned with quality and proper repair are personal requirements How to Apply Are you interested in joining the Foco Auto Repair team?
