Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret schematics to effectively diagnose and resolve vehicle issues. The Automotive Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and repairs. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot vehicle problems accurately. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's needs. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training. Experience Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive service and repair. Familiarity with various automotive systems and components is essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues. Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
