CUSTOM VEHICLE BUILDER / RESTORATION TECHNICIAN MRCC
is looking for an experienced all-around custom vehicle builder / restoration technician in Miami, Florida. This is not a basic mechanic position and not a single-skill welding role. We are looking for a hands-on builder with real production experience across classic cars, custom builds, restorations, off-road projects, performance vehicles, and complete vehicle assembly.
Responsibilities include:
Assembly and disassembly of classic, custom, and modern vehicles Mechanical repair and installation Fabrication, metalwork, welding support, grinding, and fitment Drivetrain, steering, suspension, brakes, cooling, and A/C work Electrical and wiring basics Teardown, mockup, assembly, and final fitment Supporting project planning and progress tracking Keeping accurate time entries for project work Maintaining clean, organized work areas Helping move projects forward efficiently and correctly Ideal candidate: Has hands-on experience with classic cars, customs, hot rods, off-road builds, race cars, and/or restoration work Can work independently with minimal supervision Can move between different shop tasks without losing productivity Can think through problems and find practical solutions Can fabricate or is willing and capable of learning by doing Takes pride in clean, high-end, precision work Has consistent availability and strong reliability MRCC builds everything from high-end restorations and customs to off-road, performance, and one-off specialty vehicles.
Compensation:
$25-$45/hr based on experience, skill level, capability, independence, and trial performance. Schedule flexibility is available.
