Experienced Kia Service Technician

Join a Growing Team! Bill Byrd Kia's Service Department is expanding, and we're looking for a skilled and motivated Experienced Kia Technician to join our team. As a technician, you'll be responsible for performing under-car service and repair, setting up and operating vehicle lifts safely, diagnosing mechanical issues, and completing repairs to factory specifications. You'll also help maintain a clean and safe work environment and be available to work occasional Saturdays for a half-day shift. We are specifically seeking someone with proven work experience as an Experienced Kia Technician . You should be highly proficient in diagnostics, under-car systems, and factory repair procedures. You must be comfortable driving and setting up vehicles on a lift. Kia factory training is a strong plus, along with a dependable work ethic and a team-first attitude. This position offers competitive pay based on experience and certifications. Sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance are negotiable. Job Responsibilities:

Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty. Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication. Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair. Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur Maintains an organized work area

Job Requirements:

Automotive Service Technician experience ASE certification desirable but not required Excellent customer service Strong communication skills Valid Driver's License Must have own tools
