  • Position Overview:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician at Redline Bimmer Performance, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality repairs, maintenance, and performance enhancements for our customers' BMW vehicles.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on BMW vehicles, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with the Service Writer and customers to understand vehicle issues and provide clear explanations of necessary repairs and estimated costs. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and provide accurate solutions. Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, following manufacturer's guidelines. Install, inspect, and repair various components, systems, and accessories, such as engines, transmissions, suspension, and electrical systems. Perform performance upgrades and modifications as per customer requests, ensuring safety and compliance. Keep up-to-date with the latest BMW models, features, and technical specifications to provide informed service recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and guidelines. Test-drive vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functionality and identify any additional issues. Document all repairs, services, and parts used accurately for record-keeping purposes.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive technology is required.
Proven experience as an automotive service technician, with specific experience working on BMW vehicles required. Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Solid communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and customers. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy equipment as needed. Enthusiasm for BMW vehicles and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
