Automotive Technician

Job Overview 75% of our business is fleet work with specialization in boom/bucket trucks. 25% diverse retail. Looking for a motivated team member who can self manage but is open to learn. We have amazing long term customers and and a family like team with an average tenure of 7 years but more work than can currently handle. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs effectively. Conduct advanced repairs on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), alignments, wheel balancing, and steering components. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems on various vehicle makes. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards while providing excellent customer service through clear communication about repairs needed and completed. Experience Automotive service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Familiarity with Schematics reading, automotive electrical systems, transmissions, and boom repair is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures, wheel alignment, ADAS calibration, and auto estimating software is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and other automotive repair tools. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience.
