Job Description
On the Go RV Pros is seeking a motivated RV Technician Assistant to join our fast-growing mobile RV repair company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the skilled trades, or a recent graduate from an RV Technician program, who wants to build a long-term career in the RV industry. No prior RV experience is required. We are looking for candidates with hands-on, professional experience in fields such as: Plumbing Electrical HVAC Handyman/Maintenance Marine or Automotive Repair Construction or similar skilled trades You'll work alongside an experienced RV Technician during your training and will gradually begin completing service calls independently as your skills develop. Responsibilities Assist with diagnosing and repairing RV electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance, slideout, roof, and other coach systems Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Learn RV diagnostic procedures and repair techniques Accurately document work performed using our digital service software Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area Provide professional, friendly customer service at every job Requirements Experience in one or more skilled trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, automotive, handyman, etc.) Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 75+ lbs., climb ladders, and work on rooftops Excellent work ethic, reliability, and professionalism Must obtain RVTI Level 1 Certification and LP Gas Certification within 45 days of employment Ability to pass a criminal background and drivers record check What We Offer Competitive pay: $25-$30/hour , depending on experience Paid, hands-on training with experienced RV Technicians Opportunity for advancement into an independent RV Technician role Full-time, year-round employment Supportive team environment with ongoing training and professional development If you're an experienced tradesperson looking for a career where every day is different and you enjoy solving problems as well as being a valued team member, we'd love to hear from you.
