Job Overview As an Automotive Technician, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently, while providing outstanding service that keeps them coming back. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations to ensure optimal performance. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and automotive electrical systems. Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed using auto estimating software and ensure quality control standards are met. Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and addressing customer concerns professionally. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Knowledge of ADAS technology, vehicle electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals for accurate troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools. Experience with vehicle alignment procedures and auto estimating software is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
