In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from the moment they arrive. Your expertise in automotive repair and service management will help accurately diagnose customer needs, prepare detailed estimates, and communicate effectively with technicians to deliver exceptional service. Duties Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Write detailed service orders, including auto estimating for repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Communicate clearly with technicians regarding diagnostics, mechanical issues, and repair procedures Upsell appropriate services and maintenance packages to enhance vehicle performance and customer satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely Maintain detailed records of all service activities, parts used, and customer interactions Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote additional automotive services or sales Skills Proven dealership experience with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair processes Strong knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, suspensions, brakes, tires, oil changes, alignments, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust Mechanical knowledge combined with mechanic experience or service technician background is highly desirable Familiarity with automotive sales processes and automobile sales techniques is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and record-keeping Join us in delivering top-tier automotive care by leveraging your technical expertise and passion for exceptional customer experiences.
