Overview Auto-Lab of Tallahassee is hiring a Shop Lead Diagnostic Technician. This is not an entry-level role and not a "just fix what's handed to you" position. This is an opportunity for a strong diagnostic technician to lead the shop floor and set the standard for quality, productivity, and professionalism. Responsibilities Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues accurately Support and guide other technicians Provide detailed digital inspections to support customer transparency Contribute to a positive, team-oriented shop culture Maintain tools and equipment in professional condition Take ownership of customer retention through accurate work Set the standard for production and quality Skills Advanced diagnostics (electrical, drivability, network systems) 5+ years diagnostic experience required. ASE certifications Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical data Experience with digital vehicle inspections Must possess a valid US Driver's License, be insurable on shop insurance policy, and possess the ability to drive a vehicle with passengers. Ability to lift more than 50lbs without assistance
