That's not a criticism. That's just the reality of this industry. Too many shops have spent decades proving them right. We're not one of them. I started AutoWorks behind my mom's house. Two carports. Used lifts. A compressor on an extension cord I had to run through the laundry room. I unplugged the dryer every time I needed air. My service counter was the kitchen table. We did 20 to 25 cars a month. Zero advertising. All word of mouth. Because the person talking to every one of those customers was honest with them. Even when the honest answer cost us a sale. That's still the job. Sixteen years later, three locations, over 5,000 cars a year. It's still the job. The thing we can't train is whether you actually care about the person in front of you What you'll actually do: You're the first voice a customer hears and the last hand they shake. You'll manage the floor, walk cars with techs, present estimates, follow up on declined work, and make sure every person who walks in understands what's happening with their vehicle and why. We use digital inspections with photos and video. We run a clean, organized shop. No weekends. Monday through Friday, 7:30 to 5.

What this pays:

Base draw plus commission on gross profit. Production-weighted, which means the better you are at building real relationships and closing honest work, the more you make. Advisors who get it clear $70K-$100K+. We also offer 50% company-paid health insurance, 401k with match, and paid vacation.

What we need from you:

Minimum 3 years of service advisor experience in a full-service automotive repair shop. Quick lube, tire-only, or parts counter experience does not qualify. You've written estimates, presented declined work, and managed a lane under pressure. The thing we can't train is whether you actually care about the person in front of you.
