Mechanic

Equix Energy Services is an energy and utilities contractor that provides high-quality pipeline and facility construction services. At Equix, we support our customers and stakeholders and constantly strive to exceed expectations with all of our services, which include: Pipeline Construction, Gas Distribution, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Facility Construction and Fabrication, and Trenching services.

Responsibilities:

Perform annual DOT inspections on trucks and trailers Troubleshoot problems, discussing with equipment manager options for making economical and durable repairs Maintain and repair heavy equipment, trucks, and equipment on a company wide basis Services vehicles/equipment to include oil changes, greasing, adding fluids, changing filters and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, drive trains Order parts and supplies Adjust functional parts of devices, control instruments and all types of equipment Repair or replace defective parts Test equipment performance before and after repairs Operate and maintain field service truck Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience Completion of a Diesel Technician school program highly preferable Certifications highly preferable such as ASE, 608/609, etc. Must be able to provide own tools Must be a Class 8 Mechanic Valid Driver License with clean record Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screening Ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, reach, stand, climb, kneel, and push Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job Travel throughout
