In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams, contribute to the optimization of fleet maintenance processes, and deliver a world-class service experience. We're looking for candidates who possess extensive knowledge of fleet maintenance and experience in conducting high-quality repairs, supported by a minimum of 5 years of technician experience.
Available Shifts:
First Shift
- Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday
- Saturday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Second Shift
- Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday
- Saturday, 4:00 PM-1:00 AM As a Vehicle Technician, you'll: Perform high-quality repairs and inspections efficiently and accurately according to work instructions and document findings/results in a specialized service platform.
Conduct multi-point inspections and system checks, making appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of fleet vehicles. Inspect and test all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure to ensure compliance with safety standards. Be willing/able to travel locally from time to time to configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road usage. Assist with parts/tools inventory, location, and organization, ensuring that technician tools and shop facilities are in excellent working condition. Perform diagnostics and escalate to the appropriate engineering team, if required. Assist with paperwork and documentation by maintaining service records and documenting quality field reports.
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles. Minimum of 2
- 4 years of technician experience.
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean/excellent driving record. Reliable, self-starter, roll-up-the-sleeves work ethos. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deliverables. Team player Excellent written and verbal skills. Must be honest, responsible, and an outstanding communicator. Pass a background check, MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check, and drug screen. Must comply with the Substance Abuse Policy. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit/stand for extended periods (8+ hours) depending on the equipment type. Client will provide all forklift operator training and certifications compliant with Cal/OSHA standards. This role will require safety boots that conform to
ASTM F2412 / F2413
requirements.
