$10,000.00 We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a focus on GM vehicles. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles meet safety and performance standards. We seek an "A" technician with no less that 10+ years experience and verifiable training. Please feel free to apply in person M-F 10 am till 3 pm! Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Repair or replace components of the powertrain, including engines and transmissions. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs. Weld components as needed for structural integrity and performance. Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle. Collaborate with service technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology. Skills Proficient in vehicle maintenance and repair techniques, particularly with GM vehicles. Strong ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience with diesel engine repair is a plus. Familiarity with reading schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills to interact with customers regarding vehicle issues.
