In this role, you will be responsible for restoring and enhancing vehicle interiors through expert repair and refinishing techniques. Your expertise will ensure each vehicle meets our high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform interior repairs including upholstery restoration, carpet replacement, headliner reconditioning, and trim refurbishment with precision and care. Utilize hand tools, power tools, grinders, and spray equipment such as airless paint sprayers to execute surface preparation, masking, painting, buffing, and finishing tasks. Apply automotive body refinishing techniques including surface preparation, sanding, spraying, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish. Use auto estimating software to assess repair scope accurately and communicate effectively with customers about repair processes. Follow safety protocols including respiratory protection procedures during spray painting or grinding activities. Assist with auto restoration projects by performing heavy lifting and supporting complex repairs Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to surface preparation masking standards for optimal results. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle interiors and auto body repairs. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, grinders, buffing equipment, and spray painting techniques including conventional spraying and airless paint spraying. Knowledge of automotive body refinishing, auto painting, detailing, auto glass installation, and surface preparation masking methods. Experience with auto estimating software and customer service interactions is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during intricate repairs. Familiarity with auto restoration processes and mechanic experience enhances your suitability for this role.
