Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive Service Advisor/Writer with proven service writing experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring a seamless and positive service experience. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately assess customer vehicle needs, communicate repair requirements clearly, and provide expert guidance on automotive services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your automotive knowledge, sales skills, and customer service expertise to drive customer satisfaction and business growth. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Prepare detailed repair orders and estimates using auto estimating software, ensuring transparency and clarity for customers. Communicate effectively with technicians regarding diagnosis results, repair procedures, and timelines. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, alignments, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, auto body repairs, and other automotive diagnostics. Manage cash handling transactions accurately while maintaining proper documentation of all service sales. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair options clearly and answering questions confidently. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business through excellent service writing and automotive repair knowledge. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive auto service management background. Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust. Knowledge of auto estimating tools and automotive repair processes across various systems including transmissions, oil changes, alignments, suspension work, tire service, brake repairs, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repairs. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships. Mechanical knowledge combined with service technician experience to understand complex repairs like automotive diagnostics or transmission issues. Familiarity with auto sales processes and vehicle features to assist in automobile sales when appropriate. Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier automotive service experiences!
