Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Duty Truck Alignment and Suspension Mechanic, where your expertise will drive the performance and safety of our fleet. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently. Your skills in diagnostics, suspension systems, and heavy equipment repair will be essential to keeping our operations moving forward with confidence. Responsibilities Perform precise wheel alignments on heavy-duty trucks to optimize handling, tire life, and safety standards. Diagnose and repair steering and suspension systems, springs, king pins, tie rods, and related components to ensure vehicle stability and comfort. Conduct comprehensive inspections of brakes, drivelines, differentials, air systems, etc.. . Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic scan tools. Fabricate custom parts or modifications using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques as needed. Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports, and document all maintenance activities accurately. Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving suspension components, leaf springs, drivelines, or other heavy machinery. Experience Proven mechanic experience working with heavy-duty trucks or commercial vehicles in a dealership or industrial setting. Strong background in Semi-truck repair including brake systems, steering and suspension components, drivlines, and related components . Hands-on experience operating Semi-trucks, cranes, forklifts or similar machinery is a plus. Ability to perform welding and fabrication tasks safely and effectively using various welding techniques is a plus. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices combined with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or team members. Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in diverse environments; comfort working with power tools and hand tools for extended periods. Pay:
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
