Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Semi Trailer Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining semi trailers to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will help keep our fleet operational and reliable, supporting the smooth flow of logistics and transportation operations. Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections of semi trailers, including brakes, suspensions, axles, tires, and electrical systems to identify issues promptly. Fabricate and modify trailer parts or equipment as needed using welding, soldering, and assembly techniques to meet operational specifications. Diagnose mechanical problems utilizing schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals to determine root causes efficiently. Perform tire service including mounting, balancing, repairs, and replacements to ensure safety and compliance standards are met. Maintain detailed service records of all repairs performed and communicate effectively with team members regarding ongoing maintenance needs.
