We are seeking a skilled and dedicated B Technician to join our team and contribute to our company's success. The B Technician will play a crucial role in performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring the optimal functioning of equipment and vehicles. The successful candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. 8am-5pm $1,500 sign on bonus
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment, vehicles, or machinery to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical problems and develop effective solutions.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments on mechanical components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot complex issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate repair schedules and ensure efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.
- Document all repairs, maintenance procedures, and parts used accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while working to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and techniques to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing clients' concerns and inquiries in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, tools, and equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical or vocational training/certification in automotive technology or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a technician, mechanic, or similar role.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, vehicle components, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina and agility to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- State inspection certified is a plus!
