JOB DESCRIPTION

Trailer/Chassis Mechanic Shift:

8am-5pm

Location:

Gainsville, GA Pay:

$25.00/hr. Overtime as required Weekly pay!

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Trailer/Chassis Mechanic Inspection and Diagnosis:

Thoroughly inspect trailers for any mechanical, electrical, or structural issues. Diagnose the root cause of problems using diagnostic tools and techniques. Identify potential safety hazards and recommend necessary repairs.

Repair and Maintenance:

Repair or replace worn or damaged parts, including brakes, tires, suspension components, lights, and other electrical systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotations. Make necessary adjustments and calibrations to ensure proper vehicle operation.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure trailers meet all applicable safety standards and regulations. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures when working on vehicles.

Communication and Customer Service:

Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders regarding trailer issues and repairs. Provide clear and concise explanations of repairs to customers. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.

Additional Skills:

Experience with welding and fabrication. Strong knowledge of trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently

EXPERIENCE
