The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance, including brake repair and air brake systems. This role requires the ability to read and interpret schematics, perform diagnostics, and execute repairs efficiently. The Automotive Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all vehicles are serviced to the highest standards. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Execute brake repairs, including air brake systems, adhering to industry standards. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems effectively. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repair processes. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role within a dealership or independent shop. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. Proficiency in brake repair, including air brake systems. Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
