Fleet Installation Technician

Overview ProLogic ITS is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installation 12V Installation Technician to join our team in our Griffin, GA shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Install a wide range of emergency vehicle components including lighting, consoles, partitions, push bumpers, electrical systems, and other accessories. Remove and reinstall interior components of vehicle Remove and reinstall exterior components of vehicle Read and interpret work orders, schematics, blueprints, and installation instructions. Use hand and power tools to complete mechanical and electrical installations. Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and customer specifications. Perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company policies. Assist with loading and unloading parts and organizing materials for upcoming projects. Document completed work, parts used, and time spent on each job. Requirements High school diploma or GED required; technical training in automotive or electrical systems is a plus. 1-3 years of experience in vehicle upfitting, automotive installation, or related field. Basic understanding of 12V electrical systems and mechanical assembly. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions (standing, kneeling, overhead). Preferred Skills Experience working with commercial or government fleet vehicles. Knowledge of automotive 12V systems. Familiarity with vehicle-mounted equipment, auxiliary power systems, and interior upfit components. Experience with car stereo systems, vehicle alarms, and vehicle security systems. Electrical or mechanical certifications (e.g., ASE, EVT) are a plus.
