In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. Your expertise will help diagnose vehicle issues, recommend necessary repairs, and coordinate with technicians to deliver top-quality automotive care. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Prepare detailed auto estimates for repairs and maintenance using dealership systems and diagnostic tools Communicate repair recommendations clearly, including upselling additional services such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, or brake repairs Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of work Manage vehicle repair orders from start to finish, including service writing and documentation of all work performed Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently at the point of sale Maintain a thorough understanding of automotive diagnostics, transmissions, suspension systems, diesel engines, air brakes, shocks & struts, and other key components to assist in explaining repairs to customers Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management and customer relations Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including oil changes, brake repair, alignments, tire service, and auto body repair Experience in auto estimating software and service writing processes Ability to upsell additional services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust Mechanical experience with mechanic skills related to transmissions, suspension systems, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and more Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities Familiarity with auto sales processes and automobile sales techniques is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and record keeping Join us if you're passionate about automotive care and eager to deliver exceptional service that keeps customers coming back!
