In this energetic role, you will be on the front lines, providing essential support to motorists by performing vehicle repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting at the roadside. Your mechanical expertise and hands-on skills will ensure drivers get back on the road quickly and safely. Duties Respond swiftly to roadside assistance requests, assessing vehicle issues on-site Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform repairs such as tire changes, battery jumps, fluid top-ups, and minor mechanical fixes Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical problems and determine necessary repairs Utilize technical tools like ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during each assistance call Ensure safety protocols are followed during all roadside activities to protect yourself and motorists Communicate clearly with dispatch teams to update on service status and any additional needs Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance or repair Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate service vehicles safely Prior experience with electrical diagnostics or automotive troubleshooting is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your technical skills help keep drivers moving!
