Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service needs. Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, providing professional auto estimating and upselling where appropriate. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, alignments, suspension work, and transmission repairs. Prepare detailed service writing reports and work orders that outline necessary repairs including diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repair. Manage customer communication throughout the service process, updating them on progress and explaining completed work with transparency. Handle cash transactions professionally while maintaining accurate records of all sales and services performed. Promote additional services like vehicle diagnostics or automotive repair packages to maximize customer value and satisfaction. Requirements Proven dealership experience or prior auto service management background is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures. Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity. Knowledge of technical systems including transmissions, oil changes, auto body repairs, air brake systems, alignments, suspension components, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, brake systems, and auto electrical systems. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Previous experience working with service technicians or in automotive sales is a plus.
