Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Repair or replace critical systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and auto body components with precision and care. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering recommendations for vehicle maintenance, and ensuring a positive experience for every customer. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with diverse vehicle makes and models. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics equipment. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating is highly desirable. Proficiency in working with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus. Skilled in the use of automotive hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, and maintenance machinery. Solid understanding of automotive repair procedures including brake repair, wheel alignment, suspension work, shocks & struts replacement, and tire service. Ability to read technical manuals accurately and follow detailed repair procedures while maintaining high standards of quality.
