Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
  • Repair and maintain automotive electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and components
  • Conduct mechanical repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other powertrain components
  • Use schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs and ensure accuracy
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and answering any questions or concerns
  • Estimate repair costs for customers and provide accurate quotes
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Utilize power tools and other equipment as necessary
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair related issues
  • Proficient in mechanical repairs, including engine diagnostics, transmission repairs, brake replacements, and suspension work
  • Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs
  • Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers about their vehicle's needs
  • Experience in auto estimating for repair costs is preferred but not required
  • Previous dealership experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • Ability to perform automotive diagnostics using advanced tools and equipment
