In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. You'll coordinate between customers and our skilled technicians, providing expert service writing, auto estimating, and upselling opportunities that enhance customer satisfaction and dealership profitability. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Explain repair procedures, estimates, and recommended services clearly and transparently Write detailed service orders, perform auto estimating, and prioritize repairs based on urgency and customer preferences Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to maximize customer value Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professional rapport with clients throughout the process Maintain thorough documentation of all service activities, including vehicle history and repair notes Requirements Proven dealership experience or automotive service advisor background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including transmissions, suspensions, brakes, oil changes, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engines, air brakes, and auto body repairs Experience in auto estimating software and service writing is highly preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and transparency Familiarity with automotive repair processes such as mechanic work or service technician experience is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and record keeping Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications in automotive repair or diagnostics are advantageous Join our team where your automotive expertise meets your passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences!
