You power up the scan tools, review today's repair orders, and dive into diagnostics that require sharp thinking and steady hands. Between precision troubleshooting and quality repairs, you'll partner with a supportive team that values craftsmanship, communication, and customer care. If you're an experienced automotive technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills and a clear plan to move to Kauai, we'd love to talk. This is an onsite role in Lihue. Your Core Responsibilities Perform scheduled maintenance and corrective repairs on a range of vehicles. Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns with accuracy and efficiency. Use OEM and advanced diagnostic equipment to pinpoint faults. Explain findings and repair options to customers and advisors in clear, professional language. Keep your bay and the shop clean, safe, and organized. Stay current on new technologies, systems, and repair practices. Collaborate with teammates to maintain workflow and deliver excellent customer satisfaction. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent; formal automotive training preferred. Hands-on experience as an automotive technician or mechanic. Strong understanding of vehicle systems and modern repair techniques. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software. Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability. Clear communicator with a customer-first approach. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
