About us Reliable Auto Maintenance is a small neighborhood shop in Cedar Rapids, IA. We are professional, agile, and specializes in auto repair and quality service. We are looking for experienced technicians to join our team. We are a growing business seeking out hard working technicians looking for a good company to grow with.. We're looking for a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our company. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive repair and be capable of working in a team environment. The successful candidate is responsible for diagnosing and repairing defects with automobile parts, as well as adhering to safety guidelines. This position can be quite physically demanding, so we're looking for candidates with a strong work ethic who enjoy working with their hands.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair faulty automobiles. Replace damaged vehicle parts., Make financial decisions. Understand how car parts work, including brakes, transmissions and engines. Speak with customers using good listening skills. Qualifications- Automotive diagnostics and repair experience
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and electrical systems
- Familiarity with powertrain and alignment procedures
- Experience in working with automotive service and repair
Bonus:
Dealership experience or ADAS knowledge would be a plusJob Type:
